Is a fruit and veggie diet healthy?
I know its called being a vegitarian, but I'm asking this because I want to lose weight and I don't have an official nutrition plan. I'm conditioning for football Mon Thurs so I'm getting good exercise plus a mile run everyday. I want to lose weight to be a better football player and to be more attractive for this girl I like. Right now I'm 6 foot, 250. So if anyone can tell me if this is healthy and won't cause my body weird changes that would be awesome. Also if you recommend additional exercise to help lose weight and shape out that would also be good. Thanks a bunch guys

Help with my diet/metabolism ?!?
so i'm 16, 5'6 5'7 and usually weigh around 100 102. recently, ive gained a few pounds, so i was 107 but now i'm 105. i went on a " diet" about 1500 calories per day, ran a mile each day and i didnt lose anything. i decided oh whatever, no more diet. i saw that i lost weight 2 pounds . i think it might have something to do with my metabolism. does anyone have any suggestions? thanks so much

What to eat when you diet for building muscles and abs?
I'm trying to tone my arms and build up more muscles. I also want to tone my abdominal area and get abs. What are the best foods to eat and also should I work on both my arms, chest and abs all at the same time?

What is the best diet and exercises to get ripped? Does protein help tremendously? or not much at all?
I'm 17, about 5'10 160ibs. I am in shape for sure. You can see my muscles pretty clearly. I want to focus on getting bigger in mass wise, but not to the point to be like an linebacker, I just want to gain more muscle mass and look bigger but in a thin way. Not trying to be gay, but in a Zac Efron type body build. I currently am cutting out red meats no fast food at all , eating fish, turkey, and chicken. I eat vegetables everyday and take protein and just mix it with water and drink it. I have not drank a soda in a year or so, I eat fruit all the time as well. My beverages only consist or milk, water, gatorade, juice, and protein shakes. I do not drink or smoke or do any drugs whatsoever. I am just curious to know what other people out there do to get in the type of shape I am looking to get in. What is the best way to gain MUSCLE mass and not gain fat. I mean, you need fat obviously but I want to have mostly muscle. So, what is the best diet, exercises, and proteins I can do and consume? Thanks Patrick

Low carb low calorie diet help please!?
So yesterday and today i did not go to the gym because i just did not have time. yesterday for breakfast i had a small piece of egg white crustless quiche with broccoli and reduced fat american cheese for breakfast, salmon with a citrus pesto crust with some asparagus, and then a very small amount of salad with balsamic vinagrette, chicken with a lemon sauce that may have had some slight breading, and about two cups of vegetables. today i had 6 pan seared jumbo scallops, a fourth of a cup of mozzarella, 3 jumbo shrimp cocktail style without the sauce , and about half a cup of seared spinach. will i notice added pounds on the scale if i do not go to the gym? i plan on going twice tomorrow and burning about 300 calories in the morning and then 600 later in the day. will that settle everything?

Can I lose 50 pounds in 7 months WITH diet and exercise?
Hi theres i've been going to the gym for 1 week & a day already. I go to the gym 6 days a week. 30 60 minutes on elipticle at moderate to high intensity & 25 reps of 3 machines dependending the the body part im working on I LOVE working out D I weigh 200 pounds and am 5'7'', 24 years old. I havent worked out this hard since I was 18. I do different body parts for different days and eat a well balanced diet consisting of lean meat, veggies, fruits, and oats. 1,200 Calories daily and I burn 300 400 at the gym. I only have 6 months gym membership. If I workout like this until the membership expires, do you think its possible to lose 60 pounds in 6 months? Will I lose 40 pounds with this diet?
Hi all I really want to lose 40 pounds in 3 months. If that is unreasonable, I will settle for 30 35 over the 3 month summer span. I am currently 5'7" and 180 pounds, and I want to reach 140... as my end of summer goal. Refer to avatar picture. I eat pretty healthy now, and I am trying to stay below or around 1500 calories per day. Over the summer, I will be going to the beach and or pool a lot, so swimming, walking, etc. will be my main activities. Do I need a special diet for this? Can anyone give me a general diet, no expensive programs please. I am a college student, after all. Besides, I'm able to make healthy choices on my own without a box to guide me. Does Diet Pepsi interfere with a morning blood sugar reading? Please read!?
My sugar level is better at 8 am that it is at 6 am when I wake up. I do not like to eat till later in the morning but I do like a caffeine fix early.So what I am asking is can I enjoy my diet pepsi before test my blood sugar test at 9 am without my effecting the testing? Thanks
