How does aromatherapy essential oils work and why?
From what I understand that some of these oils can be dangerous if you have a heart condition or have high blood pressure.

Cleaning essential/aromatherapy oils of metal?
I had a aromatherapy kit last yr with a metal stiring stick and pot and a plastic pot. I left the oils in there and they've gone all sticky and horrile. Washing up liquid did not work nor did soaking them in hot water.How do you get oils of things? I'd love to use them again but its impossible to clean themYeah the pot isn't plastic I'm an idiot.

Best aromatherapy plug in diffuser?
I was thinking about refilling glade plug ins I own since they diffuse scents nicely, but since I have gotten no insight on the best carrier oil to use, and how to replace the wick..I am now considering specific aromatherapy plug in diffusers.I have only been able to find aura cacia brand and scent ball.I am wondering if you have experience with either of these, or any other ones, and if you have advice for refilling glade plug ins with EOs. I like the idea of mixing the EO with a carrier oil and putting it into a bulb rather than dropping some onto a cotton pad.Ideas?I really need a plug in diffuser for my EOs. I already have reed diffusers. I want to use them as a fragrance as I have not experienced the benefits of EOs, yet. So I just need my house to not smell bad.

Does aromatherapy tea makes you sleepy?
I bought flavoured green tea aloe vera flavor, quince and opuncia flavor last night to keep it in the office and today i just realized its aromatherapy. Does aromatherapy makes me sleep and relaxed?

What type/s of aromatherapy fragrances are dangerous for people who have epilepsy?
My daughter was in an aromatherapy shop yesterday. She was about to smell a fragrance with the letters 'EP' on the label. She asked if it was good for epilepsy and the clerk said that the 'EP' means that it's dangerous for epileptics. My daughter and I both have epilepsy, so I'm curious, what types s of aromatherapy fragrances are dangerous or bad for people who have epilepsy?Odors can definitely cause seizures. I know that from experience.

Whats the difference between a swedish massage and aromatherapy massage?
I want to get my mom a massage for mothers day and they offer a swedish massage and an aromatherapy massage. I never go to the spa so whats the difference between the two?

Do men do aromatherapy?
I'm a 22 year old male who has been battling with depression and anxiety for the past 10 years. There's something about scents that ease my mind and make me feel comfortable. I did some research on aromatherapy but it seems like it's mostly females doing it. I don't like flowery, sweet smells but I love earthy, woodsy, citrus scents. I just bought some bergamot, lemon and coriander essential oils but I'm afraid that my roommate may think I lack masculinity. So I'm wondering if there are other males enjoy this. Thanks

My sister got me a cozy hugs microwavable aromatherapy animal.. and the directions are confusing me?
Place animal in microwave. place half a cup of water inside microwave whilst heating. make sure the carousel is clean and able to rotate freely.. i get this part Heat for 30 seconds intervals < intervals? and then carefully test.. Heat in microwave in increments < increments? of 10 seconds until desired temperature is reachedIts i do not know all the fancy words means and i do not know if i have to do 30 seconds or 10 seconds..please help

Has aromatherapy been scientifically proven?
Or is it just a bunch of pish posh? In other words, its it just something people want to believe in? I'd like to know if there really is scientific evidence. Links of scientific evidence, if found, would be appreciated.

What can aromatherapy do to your skin?
Like other than massage or relax it. What more can it do?... I actually have really rough skin with like bumps.. Idk why but I am wondering if it can smooth it out? what more can it do?
