Brain fog and adrenal fatigue?
Im a 16 year old girl and have had constant stress throughout my life. In December 2011 there were major problems going o. With family, I then went to a party and got drunk. The following day and for two weeks constantly I had brain fog, depression, high emotions and exhaustion. My dad then sent me to a kinesiologist which helped a lot with brain integration and adrenal supplements as I had adrenal fatigue. I have again seen my kinesiologist and I am taking adrenal supplements different ones but the exhaustion, an especially the brain fog is starting to get to me, I'm fed up of it and I keep crying cos its gettin in the way of school work and social life. Please someone tell me what I can do I just want the brain fog to go away
What is adrenal fatigue?
Since I have Low Blood Pressure (LBP) does it mean that my adrenal glands aren't working properly?
also, what causes the lack of oxygen to the brain?I do get dizzy and lightheaded quite a lot of the time especially when standing up after sleeping or even after sitting for a bit and I was told it was lack of oxygen to the brain. However, when it happens I sometimes start to see many black dots 'flickering' around my eye sight and one time it covered my whole sight that I just saw black and fell for a bit. Please help, thanks Khahroshoh yea, well thanks to be honest I don't feel comfortable going to see someone about this. Although it is a bad thing I don't take it as one... that's just me I guess. Jenaww thank you it isn't that scary I guess i'm used to it is all and i'm sorry to hear about your hypertension and thanks for ur support gLoOo thanks for the information it was good help too. I sometimes just slowly get up and I guess that works ok too but I'll try your way and see how things go. For now I don't really want to go see anyone about it...
How long do people normally live after kidney/adrenal failure?
My dad was diagnosed when I was born and died when I was 14. I'm 21 now and still dealing with the loss. I wasn't very informed on his illness because I was so young and I guess my parents thought I couldn't handle it. But I have a lot of questions and I think I'm finally ready for the answers if anybody on here could inform me. 1st Do people on dialysis or people with transplants normally live longer? Of course it depends on how well you follow the diet, ect but in general what are the pros and cons of each? I remember sobbing to my dad asking him to not get the transplant when I was about 7. I didn't know why I didn't want him to, it was just so scary for me then. His transplant lasted about 6 years I think. Is this normal? 2nd What normally causes this? I remember one doctor saying he may have been poisoned. He was a seargant in the prison system and this happened often. Other doctors said it was caused by hypertension. If it was caused by the latter, could I pass this on to my children? I know I won't have the disease because of how careful I am, so should I be just as careful with my children's diets?3rd What is the quality of living for people with this disease? My dad always seemed healthier on peritoneal dialysis rather than after the transplant. I do know it was a cadaver, he wouldn't let any of us donate. I just want peace of mind that he is happier now with Jesus, and that there really wasn't anything we could have done. I want to know that he wasn't suffering until the last few months after his transplant failed. My dad was the most important person in my life and I loved him very much we were best friends. Thank you for any information.

I have all the symptoms for adrenal fatigue and my PC doctor referred me to an endo, but I can't get in until the end of the month so that will be a long wait. Adrenal ultrasound? scared?
Hi, a few days ago I had a dr's appointment about my Hashimoto's disease and my HRT dosage. Anyway, my doctor ordered an ultrasound of my ovaries with suspected PCOS a thyroid ultrasound to look for nodules, because she felt something on my physical exam and an ultrasound of my adrenal glands. Now, why would she do that. I assume she suspects Schmidt's syndrome, but then an ultrasound is not hat is used for diagnosis, or is it? I only know ultrasound of the adrenals would be used t find tumors, or to look at the size of the gland. What are adrenal ultrasounds used for? btw I'm 15 and otherwise healthy. I'm 5'4 and 118 lbs. thanks in advance xxxx
